Livermore Dentist Stands By Wife Accused of Sex Crimes

The husband of the Livermore mother accused of having sex with teenage boys is speaking out for the first time about his wife's alleged crimes.

Timothy Hubbs says he's standing by his wife.

"We're doing okay, justing taking it one day at a time," Timothy Hubbs said.

His wife, Christine Hubbs, made her second court appearance in Pleasanton Monday. Hubbs, 42, was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of having sex with two underage boys who were close family friends. One of the victims dated her daughter, according to investigators.

"My kids are hanging tough I'm just telling you that." Timothy Hubbs said. "I'm doing okay. I'm okay."

The prominent Livermore dentist sat in the front row as his wife made her second court appearance. Her attorney says they need two more weeks before they're ready to enter a plea.

Prosecutors said it was the victim's mother who initially found a nude photo on the boy's cell phone that brought the abuse to light.

According to court documents, the boys told investigators that they had sex with Christine Hubbs at various spots around town including her Hummer H2 and hotel rooms.  Along with the photo that triggered the case, Hubbs also texted them sexually explicit messages.

Her next court appearance is in two weeks.
