Livermore Woman Charged With Sex With Boys

Cops say woman sexted boys, drove them around in her Hummer to have sex

A 42-year-old Livermore woman is facing serious charges after police say she had sexual relationships with two boys over the past two years.

Christine Shreeve Hubbs was arrested Thursday and charged with 67 counts of sexual assault ranging from contacting a minor for sex to performing sex acts with minors. Investigators say the boys were under age 15.

Investigators say Hubbs, who lives with her family in Livermore, started contacting the two boys in Dec. 2008 and would text them to coordinate times to pick them up in her Hummer H2, drive to various parts of the city and engage in sex acts with them.

An adult family friend became suspicious of the relationship Hubbs had with the boys and tipped off police. The friend showed police one of the boys' cell phones that had received a nude picture of Hubbs. The families live in Livermore and all knew each other, police Lt. Matt Sarsfield said.

Hubbs allegedly sexted the boys, sending them sexual messages and nude pictures of herself. She also gave the boys money and gifts in the form of pre-paid credit cards during the alleged affairs, Sarsfield said.

Sarsfield said Hubbs is not a teacher or involved with the church or any other community group that would put her in contact with children.

Hubbs' husband is a dentist and the couple has three kids ages 8, 10 and 13, according to her Facebook profile. The couple has been married for 20 years and she works at the dental practice "during school hours then taxi kids around after school. Fun!" The profile states.

Sarsfield held a news conference late Saturday afternoon about the case because it has gained so much attention. Hubbs has hired a lawyer.

Hubbs is in the Santa Rita Jail on $4.3 million bail. She's expected to be in court Monday to answer to the charges.
