Diehard Fans Camp Outside SF Sneaker Store for Kanye West's ‘Yeezy” Sneaker Re-Release

The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Black was originally released last August.

Diehard "Yeezy" fans are reportedly camping out in front of Shoe Biz on Haight Street for days — waiting for its re-release.

For the uninitiated, Yeezys are not the latest must-have tech gadget or album. They are Kanye West’s sneaker collaboration with Adidas. The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Black was originally released last August. And now, much to the delight of sneakerheads, the brand is back.

The shoes will be available on Adidas.com, the Adidas confirmed app and select global retailers like Foot Locker and Champs, retailing at $350.

Diehard Yeezy fan Cameron Dixon tells us that people have been waiting in line for the sneakers at multiple places in San Francisco, including the downtown Adidas store.

“At some places people have been waiting for days … Other stores are doing raffles and lines for those are around 30 minutes to an hour," Dixon said.

Dixon hopes to snag a pair on Thursday. “I’ve entered in raffles, however most of my focus will be on online sites that will sell the Yeezy’s.”

Kanye has been in the news recently for his latest album, “Life of Pablo,” and a series of bizarre tweets, including one in which he claimed to be $53 million in “personal debt.” He even asked Mark Zuckerberg to help him, tweeting: “Mark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas.”

On Thursday, West tweeted: “My number one enemy has been my ego … There is only one throne and that’s God's …"
