Lyft Driver Hits Elderly Woman in San Francisco Crosswalk

A Lyft driver hit an elderly woman in a crosswalk Friday afternoon in San Francisco's Nob Hill neighborhood, police said.

It happened around 1:30 at Jackson and Larkin, according to SFPD.

Witnesses say a woman driver hit the woman. Police say the driver is cooperating.

The pedestrian was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with a leg injury. Her injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

In a statement, Lyft said the safety of everyone on the road is its top priority, and the company is sorry to hear that this happened.
