A magnitude 3.0 earthquake struck late Friday, rattling portions of the East Bay, according to the USGS.
The quake was reported just after 10 p.m. and was centered near San Ramon.
It was also felt strongly in the neighboring cities of Danville and Dublin, residents reported on NBC Bay Area's Facebook page.
