A man was arrested in Santa Clara Wednesday night on charges of trespassing and resisting arrest after a standoff with police inside an apartment.
The man fired shots in the apartment according to one witness, but police could not confirm if shots were fired or what he was doing inside the apartment.
At 7:05 p.m., police responded to calls of shots fired and set up a perimeter around the apartment. Eventually, he opened the door and walked out.
He was alone in the apartment and there were no injuries.
