Santa Cruz police are investigating a homicide that took place on Saturday night.
Police arrived at Depot Park at about 10:55 p.m. after they received reports that someone might have been killed, Santa Cruz police said.
When they arrived at the campsite, officers found the body of a 51-year-old man. Investigators ruled that he had been killed.
Soon after wards, police arrested a 26-year-old homeless man in connection with the death.
