Police are investigating a deadly stabbing overnight in San Jose. The death is the 28th homicide in San Jose this year.
Police said 911 operators said they received a call for help around 2:15 a.m. in the area of 19th Street and Santa Clara.
Initially police could not find a victim, but then officers canvassed the area and found a man suffering from stab wounds in Roosevelt Park. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has not been identified.
No suspects have been identified in the stabbing and the motive is unclear, according to police.
Police said they would release more information later Sunday.
