A man was shot and killed in front of a parked Mercedes in West Oakland Wednesday morning, police said, and a witness said she heard at least six gunshots and a lot of screaming.
Oakland police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1100 block of Adeline Street at about 5:30 a.m., police said. There, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A witness told NBC Bay Area she heard the gunshots and screaming about 5 a.m. and woke up to find a body under a shot-up Mercedes parked in front of her house.
Police did not make any arrests in the case.
