Police are investigating a Saturday afternoon shooting in San Jose that left a 38-year-old man with a life-threatening gunshot wound.
A man is in the hospital after he was shot and wounded in San Jose Saturday afternoon.
The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office and San Jose police responded to a 911 call, just after 5:00 p.m., from callers who said they heard an argument and then gunfire at a home on Bordeaux Lane.
When police arrived, they found a 38-year-old man with a single gunshot wound to the chest. The unidentified victim was rushed to the hospital by ambulance with a non life-threatening wound.
Police said they do not believe the shooting is gang related.
There are no suspects at this time.
This shooting follows San Jose's 35th homicide of 2013, which happened on Friday.
