Man Suspected of Recording At Victoria's Secret: Salinas PD

Police are investigating a Monday incident at a mall in Salinas in which an unknown man is suspected of using a concealed camera at Victoria's Secret.

Police said the man was in the Victoria's Secret at the Northridge Mall for lengthy period of time when a female employee made contact with him.

A short time later, the employee, who was wearing a dress, noticed the man drop something on the ground at her feet, and she saw a flash, police said.

The man retrieved a small camera from the ground, police said.

The store manager confronted the man, and he then fled the mall. He was seen leaving the area in an orange Jeep Cherokee.

Police described the man as about 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches and 145 pounds. He has short brown hair and is clean-shaven except for a growth of hair under his bottom lip, police said.

He was wearing a gray and black shirt, black pants, black shoes a silver-colored watch and prescription glasses.
