Mandatory Evacuations Lifted in North Bay Wildfire Zones

Mandatory evacuation orders were lifted Wednesday for residents in three areas of Napa County effective at 2 p.m. and areas of Sonoma County effective at 3 p.m.

In Napa County, Monticello Road between Vichy Avenue and Wooden Valley Road east of Napa, Wild Horse Valley Road east of Napa and Dry Creek Road from Orchard Avenue to 4591 Dry Creek Road west of Napa will reopen.

Checkpoints will remain in place along Monticello Road to allow residents access, county officials said.

A road closure and mandatory evacuation order will remain in effect north of 4591 Dry Creek Road, according to the county.

In Sonoma County, the Rincon Valley, Sky Hawk and Los Alamos areas of Santa Rosa reopened. This includes all evacuated areas north of Highway 12, east of Calistoga Road to Melita Road outside the fire perimeter, Cal Fire said.

Calistoga Road at Harville Road remains closed.
