The Terra Linda nursery where a 4-month old boy died is facing scrutiny from investigators, according to reports.
Staff at the Magic Place Children's Center phoned police on Oct. 23 to report an unresponsive infant, according to the Marin Independent Journal.
Both police and the coroner's office have opened official investigations, the newspaper reported.
The boy was said to have fallen asleep for three hours and then he "never woke up," according to the day care center's owner.
Six children and two adults were at the 8-year old day care center at the time of the death.
