Marriage Equality Supporters Encouraged by Same-Sex Victories

Marriage equality supporters say they have a long way to go, but are encouraged with the progress recently made as more states allow same-sex couples to tie the knot.

"Yes we have a long way to go, but I'm nothing but encouraged," said Cheryl Dumensil, who is legally married in California to her spouse, Traci.

The couple knows the fight for equal rights is far from over in the United States and globally.

Groups like "Out and Equal Workplace Advocates" are leading the fight for change, working to get the employment non-discrimination act passed to protect people in the nation.

Meanwhile, the fight crosses borders and into the global economy.

"Many of our multi-national corporations have branches all over the world in countries where it's not even safe to be LGBT," said Thom Lynch of Out and Equal Workplace Advocates.
