SFist noted that Shkreli was at the center of controversy earlier this year after the price of his company's malaria medication, Daraprim, jumped in price from $13.50 to $750 a pill.

"Landing in San Fran soon if anyone wants to hang," Shkreli tweeted on Sunday.

"Hoping you get hung, but really the guillotine would be better," retorted user Miss Maisy

"Racist much? Lol jk enjoy san fran homie," said Shougney.

Shkreli doesn't seem bothered by the negative feedback. He tweeted a photo Monday morning of himself smiling in front of Kalobios Pharmaceuticals' San Francisco office.
