Police are searching for a masked gunman who robbed a McDonald's  restaurant in Pleasanton via the drive-through window early Wednesday morning.

According to police, the suspect entered the McDonald's restaurant at 4833 Bernal Ave. at about 3 a.m.

He was wearing a white mask, white cloth gloves and armed with  what appeared to be a small caliber revolver, police said.

According to police, the suspect forced three employees into an  office and demanded money from a safe. After the employees opened the safe,  the suspect ordered the employees into the freezer and told them not to exit  the freezer for 30 minutes.

The suspect was described by the victims as a possibly Hispanic  male, standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the safe and nobody  was injured during the robbery, police said.

Anyone with information about this incident or with suspect  information is urged to call the Pleasanton Police Department at (925)  931-5100.
