Massage Therapist Accused of Repeated Sexual Assault

Four women say a Scotts Valley man assaulted them sexually during masages.

A Capitola man was arrested Monday after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman to whom he was giving a massage, according to reports.

Police responded to reports Sunday that Richard Alexander Fletcher, 35, had abused a woman client at an unidentified business at Mount Hermon Road, according to the Santa Cruz Sentinel.

He was arrested Monday afternoon and booked into jail on felony and misdemeanor charges.

Following the Sunday investigation, a total of four women have come forward to report problems with Fletcher, police said. Police are looking for more possible victims, according to the newspaper.

Fletcher, who has no criminal history, "offered Swedish massage, integrative body work and massage therapy," the newspaper reported.
