Menlo Park Considers More Red Light Cameras

In the past five months, Hayward, Redwood City and Belmont have all opted out of their contracts with Redflex Holdings, an Australian-based company that provides red light camera technology.

But Menlo Park on Tuesday night considered a staff recommendation to renew its contract with Redflex, claiming that accidents at the intersections with the cameras had decreased since the cameras were installed in 2008.
