Security Cam Images of Milpitas 7-Eleven Killing Released

The clerk was the city's first homicide of the year.

An employee at a Milpitas 7-11 store was shot dead early Saturday morning, becoming the city's first homicide of the year.

Police were called to the store at 1496 N. Milpitas Blvd. shortly before 2:15 a.m. on a report of an injured employee, according to Sgt. Huy Tran.

Officers found the victim, Mohammad Reza Sadeghzadeh, a 67-year-old Milpitas resident, with a gunshot wound. He was declared dead at the scene.

Video surveillance from the store revealed three males, armed with handguns, entering the tore wearing hooded sweatshirts and confronting the victim. Photos are provided below.

7-11, Inc is offering a $10,000.00 reward to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons involved.
