Missing Cupertino Girl Found

Emma Pickett, 17 of Cupertino, was reported missing Tuesday.

A missing 17-year-old Cupertino girl has been found, according to her father, who spoke to NBC Bay Area Thursday morning.

Charles Pickett declined to say more.

His daughter, Emma Pickett, who attends Cupertino High School, had last been seen at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday when she left for school. Her black 2001 Jaguar S, was found Wednesday night in a rural area of San Mateo County, officials said. The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, which had been leading the search for the teen, declined to elaborate on exactly when and where the girl was found.
