Mobile Home in San Jose Burns

No injuries reported

Fire crews have controlled a two-alarm fire at a San Jose mobile home park this afternoon, a San Jose fire captain said.

The fire at the Magic Sands mobile home park at 165 Blossom Hill Road was reported at 4:04 p.m., San Jose fire Capt. Rob Brown said.

The fire was under control at 5:05 p.m.

Fire crews arrived to one mobile home with flames coming through the roof and the fire spread to a nearby unit, damaging an exterior wall, Brown said.

Half of the first unit was burned in the blaze, Brown said.

The Red Cross has been called to assist the one resident who was displaced from the first unit and the four residents in the second affected unit, Brown said.
