A Morgan Hill 4th grader is getting some national recognition for cooking up a mighty good burger.
10-year-old Priya Zahrt’s “Roasted-Grilled-Crispy Burger” will be one of 50 recipes appearing in the Red Robin 2011 gourmet burger cookbook.
Zahrt’s cheeseburger has roasted bell peppers, bacon, grilled onions, avocado and cheddar cheese. The recipe was selected for the cookbook earlier this month by the Red Robin Restaurant in Morgan Hill.
The cookbook is due out in spring.
