Morgan Hill: Teen Arrested on Suspicion of Rape, Burglary

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of rape and residential burglary, according to the Morgan Hill Police Department.

Two other juveniles were also arrested on suspicion of burglary and violating their terms of juvenile probation, police said.

Police said a 40-year-old woman returned home in a taxi after a night of drinking at a bar in downtown Morgan Hill. The taxi driver asked a nearby mother and her teenage son to assist him in getting the intoxicated woman into her house.

The teen returned to the woman's house later that night and raped her, police said.

He then returned home and called for his 15-year-old girlfriend and her friend to burglarize the woman's home.

Officers recovered the victim's stolen property at the male juvenile's residence.
