A fatal motorcycle collision blocked the three left lanes of U.S. Highway 101 in San Francisco Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Sig-alert was issued at about 6:25 a.m. for the collision on southbound U.S. Highway 101, near Silver Avenue.
The three left lanes of southbound U.S. Highway 101 are blocked and motorists are advised to avoid the area, according to the CHP.
The cause of the collision and the motorcyclist's name have not been released.
