Mr. Obama Comes To Town in Time For Giants Game

The president comes in time to cheer on the Giants come Thursday

We learned Monday, the parade of famous politicians making a stop in the Bay Area before the Nov. 2 election is going to  include the most famous politician of them all.

The White House confirmed President Barack Obama will visit the City of San Francisco Thursday.

The president is scheduled to take part in two private fundraisers for the DNC and for District Attorney Kamala Harris.

He's scheduled to arrive at SFO at 3 p.m. and he won't depart until the following morning.  Giants'  fans will be quick to notice that his arrival would make it possible for him to take part in game five of the NLCS series against the Phillies.   Wouldn't it be nice if he stopped by? He's a White Sox fan, but that makes him a baseball fan right?

His entire agenda is not yet public, including where he will spend Thursday night., but it doesn't look like he will have any events that are open to the public.

Mr. Obama and Ms. Harris have been close allies since before he was president.  Harris is the Democratic nominee for attorney general of  California. She is running against Republican Steve Cooley in the Nov. 2  election.

The president's last visit was in May, when he also spent all of one night in San Francisco.
