First responders are looking for a missing camper in the vicinity of Angel Island, off the coast of Tiburon, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities describe Wouter Van Lier as having brown hair and blue eyes, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 190 pounds. He was last seen around 1 a.m. Monday on his boat, which is moored at Angel Island.
Coast Guard officials say they're deploying a helicopter to assist in the search.
Other agencies involved in this evening's search include Marin County Search and Rescue, Tiburon police, and the South Marin Fire Protection District, according to sheriff's deputies.
