A Muni bus took out a bus shelter sometime around 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning, completely destroying it.

The incident occurred at the corner of Mission and 24th Street, MTA spokesman Paul Rose told the Examiner

There were no human injuries but the 49-Van Ness bus was severly damaged, along with the shelter.

Rose said the operator was placed on non-driving status.
