A suspected drunken driver is in police custody and several people are dealing with the mess he left behind in their Millbrae neighborhood.

Police say a 25-year-old Burlingame man lost control of his pickup truck at about 12:30 a.m. Friday. He hit a tree then crashed into three parked cars, then skidded through a resident's yard before careening into the corner of a house.

There were several people in the house when the pickup crashed into it. They said they heard a loud "boom" from the crash and told us they are grateful nobody inside the house was hurt.

The driver was treated for minor injuries at a hospital. He's facing several charges now, including suspicion of DUI.
