New San Bruno Blast Video Released

Home video gives new perspective of the explosion.

    On the six month anniversary of the San Bruno explosion, the NTSB releases new video taken from ground zero of the blast. (Published Wednesday, Mar 9, 2011)

    The National Transportation and Safety Board released new home video of the pipeline explosion Wednesday.

    The video was taken in the moments after the blast.

    The perspective is looking east on Earl Avenue and just a few houses away from the area where the pipeline burst. 

    You can see and hear the gas spewing from the ground in the video.

    It's release comes on the six-month anniversary of the explosion that killed eight people and destroyed dozens of homes.
