San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom and his wife are temporarily moving out of the City to find a larger home for their growing family.
It only took four months but Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom is packing his bags and leaving the city.
No the former San Francisco mayor is not moving to Sacramento, where his job is technically based.
Instead Newsom, his pregnant wife and his young daughter are crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and moving to Ross.
The shift is temporary as the Newsoms look for a bigger home but whether that home will still be in the City or not remains to be seen, according to Matier and Ross.
Newsom will stay in his in law's five-bedroom, five-bath home until he can find a new, bigger home for his growing family.
The Marin native purchased a four-bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home Ashbury Heights home for $2.7 million two years ago.
