Ask any Sharks fan...and they'll probably tell you that mascot S. J. Sharkie is pretty cool, perhaps even awesome.
Now, Sharkie is competing on the national stage, trying to earn the title of "Most Awesome Mascot" in Cartoon Network's "Hall of Game" awards show.
The Sacramento Kings' mascot, Slamson, has also been nominated for the "Awesome" title.
The two Northern California mascots are going head to head against the mascots for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Cleveland Indians. The winner will be chosen by popular vote. Fans can cast their vote by going to HallofGame.com and clicking the "Most Awesome Mascot" category. Voting is open till February 15th.
