Police are on the lookout for a pair of thieves who robbed a North Oakland bank, according to the Oakland Tribune.

A man and a woman robbed a Bank of the West branch at 4900 Telegraph Ave. at 12:25 p.m. Dec 10, according to Oakland police. Their photos were distributed Wednesday (see below).

That particular bank branch has been robbed four times between Dec. 6 and Dec. 29, but this pair are wanted merely for the Dec. 10 robbery, police said.

The male suspect is African-American, 34 to 37 years old, roughly 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build, the newspaper reported. He had a mustache, and was wearing a black beanie and a large black jacket with a light colored shirt, police said.

The female suspect "is described as an African-American in her late 20s, 5 feet 5 inches
tall and weighing about 170 pounds with large eyes and possibly wearing a wig," the newspaper reported.

A reward of up to $2,500 is offered in the case. Witnesses or people with information are asked to "call the major crimes unit at 510-238-3326 or 510-238-3326 or email ncalonge@oaklandnet.com," the newspaper reported.

Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers of Oakland at 510-777-8672 or 510-777-2805.
