OPD Investigate Six Shootings in Ten Hours

The first shooting was reported Sunday about 2:50 p.m., and appeard to be a shootout outside the federal building downtown, police said. A suspect was arrested and a gun was recovered, but it is unclear whether police can connect the suspect to the shooting, police said.

The most serious of the shootings was reported at 11:15 p.m. The victim was shot in the chest, police said, and he was taken to the hospital where he was reported to be in stable condition.
