Oakland Police Searching for Missing At-Risk Woman

Police are asking the public for assistance in locating a 71-year-old at-risk woman who went missing on Sunday morning in Oakland, a police spokeswoman said.

Susan King was last seen at 11 a.m. on Sunday in the 200 block of West MacArthur Boulevard near Kaiser Hospital. She has not returned to her Oakland home on Morrill Court, Officer Johnna Watson said.

King is described as a Caucasian woman standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 240 pounds. She has green eyes and gray hair. She was last seen wearing a red jacket and blue sweatpants, Watson said.

King is considered at-risk due to health concerns, according to Watson.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Oakland Police Department's Missing Persons Unit at 510-238-3641.

Anonymous tips can be sent to Oakland police by texting "TIP OAKLANDPD" to 888777 from a cellphone followed by the message containing the tip. Anonymous tipsters can also submit a voicemail to the tip hotline at 855-847-7247 or submit a tip online.
