Pres. Obama Sets Bay Area Fundraising Schedule

President to raise funds at homes of the rich and fabulous

No big deal -- just dinner with the leader of the free world.

The home of philanthropists Ann and Gordon Getty -- the Getty mansion in Pacific Heights -- will be graced by the presence of President Barack Obama next week, as the president visits the Bay Area for two pairs of fundraisers, according to the San Francisco Appeal online newspaper.

On April 3, Obama will visit the home of Tom Steyer, an asset manager and bigtime Democratic fundraiser, for a reception.

He'll then dine with the Gettys -- and anyone else who can pony up for a plate.

The following day, on April 4, Obama will attend his second pair of fundraisers in Atherton -- a $32,400-per plate brunch, and then a lunch.

The cheap seats at the lunch are $1,000 per, the newspaper reported.

The April junket will be Obama's first visit to the Bay Area since winning reelection.
