The MacArthur off ramp, off of westbound 580, in Oakland, has been closed due to a nearby shooting.
Two people have been shot. One person has died, and the other is being transported to the hospital.
Witnesses say there was some sort of chase on 580 westbound. The driver was taken to Highland Hospital after he was shot running from the scene. He is in surgery at this hour.
Police are looking for a light colored, possibly tan, town car in connection to the incident.
