Olympus Steps in to Pick Up Where Flip Left Off

advertisement

Flip may be dead, but don't worry, you'll still be able to buy a standalone handheld video camera. Olympus appears to be stepping in to fill the void with their LS-20M.

The LS-20M features a 2-inch screen for showing your videos and a 1.46-inch screen for showing data about your video. I records at 1080p, comes with a 2GB memory card bundled with it and a number of different video filters to give your shots different looks. It'll also cost $299, which is a pretty steep price for this sort of thing. But hey, with fewer games in town, maybe this will become worth it to the folks still interested in this sort of thing.
