    One Man Killed, Another Injured in Double Shooting in Antioch

    Antioch police are investigating a double shooting that left one person dead and another hospitalized Thursday night.

    Officers with the Antioch Police Department responded at 9:20 p.m. to the 2700 block of Contra Loma Boulevard to investigate a shooting involving two victims.

    Police said a 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, and a 23-year-old man was taken to an area hospital in stable condition. Police have not provided details about the extent of the man’s injuries or what exactly happened leading up to the shooting.

    Both victims are from Antioch, according to police. 

    This is Antioch's second homicide of 2017.
