The victim of a hit-and-run crash in Vallejo Monday night has died, police said.
The victim, who has not been identified, was walking across the street in the 1900 block of Broadway shortly before 10 p.m.
A sedan then hit the pedestrian and the driver briefly stopped to check on him before fleeing the area.
Witnesses said the driver appeared to be a white woman in her 60s with shoulder-length white hair with a passenger, a white woman in her 40s.
The two were driving a 1989-1991 4-door Ford Taurus with silver faded paint.
The victim was taken to Kaiser Hospital and succumbed to their injuries on Tuesday.
