A man was struck and killed by a train on the Caltrain tracks in Mountain View Wednesday morning, Caltrain officials said.
The collision was reported at about 10:15 a.m. on the tracks south of Rengstorff Avenue and involved southbound Caltrain No. 134.
There were 103 people aboard the train, according to Caltrain officials. No one on the train was injured.
The name of the man who was struck was not yet being released.
Bus shuttles took passengers around the area until trains started moving again in both directions as of about 11:45 a.m., according to Caltrain officials.
The fatality is the fourth on the Caltrain tracks so far in 2014.
