A pedestrian was killed when he was hit by a car in San Jose Wednesday night, according to police.
Police found the man unconscious near the intersection of southbound Almaden Expressway and Foxworth Avenue at about 9 p.m.
He had been hit by a car and was pronounced dead a short time later, police said.
The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the police investigation, according to police. The victim's name is being withheld until his family has been notified of his death.
