The southbound tracks have reopened near the scene where a Caltrain fatally struck a person near the Millbrae station Saturday morning, a Caltrain spokeswoman said.
Northbound Caltrain No. 423 struck a person on the tracks around 9:10 a.m. eight-tenths of a mile south of the Millbrae station, Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said.
Emergency crews are at the scene, she said.
The train has been moved to the Millbrae station to allow the 720 passengers on board to exit, Dunn said.
No injuries were reported to anyone on the train, she said.
The station is located at located at 100 California Drive in Millbrae.
At first trains were not allowed to operate in the area, Dunn said.

As of 10:30 a.m., trains were able to run again on the southbound tracks at about 10 mph near the crash scene, she said.
Caltrain had set up a bus bridge for passengers between the Millbrae station and Broadway station in Burlingame but as of 10:20 a.m. was no longer needed, according to Dunn.
BART will honor Caltrain tickets until 1 p.m. while SamTrans will also honor Caltrain tickets, she said.
