Pinole Police Investigating First Homicide of 2014

Pinole police are investigating the city's first homicide of the year after a man was shot and killed outside a bar.

Pinole police are investigating the city's first homicide of the year.

Police said they were called to the Green Lantern Bar on San Pablo Avenue just after midnight Sunday.

When officers arrived, they found the unconscious victim in the parking lot with gunshot wounds. He was declared dead at the scene.

The victim is described as a 30-year old African-American male from Richmond. His identity has not been released.

No arrests have been made.
