A suspect is still at large after robbing a Nordstrom Rack store in Pleasant Hill on Tuesday afternoon and then eluding law enforcement in a subsequent police pursuit.

Police determined that the suspect is Charles Frederick Justus, a 22-year-old Hayward resident, and started to chase him. But they lost him, when he allegedly drove into oncoming traffic with a woman and three children in the car, police said.

The robbery was reported after a Nordstrom Rack employee called 911 and reported that someone had stolen store property, and had some type of firearm, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at (925) 288-4630.
