Two people robbed a restaurant in Pleasanton on Saturday night, police said.
Officers responded to Nation's Giant Hamburgers restaurant, located at 5321 Hopyard Road, at about 10:45 p.m. Two suspects entered the empty restaurant and approached a clerk who was at a register, according to police.
The male suspect simulated a handgun and demanded money from the register. No weapon was seen.
The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. Both suspects ran out of the restaurant, police said.
The male suspect is about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.
The female suspect is about the same height and weighs about 110 pounds. She also has green eyes.
Both suspects were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and dark pants.
Witnesses told police they saw a minivan speed out of the area from behind the restaurant around the time the robbery was reported.
No injuries were reported.
