Pleasanton Police Arrest 4 on Burglary, Drug Charges

Pleasanton police arrested four people - all from the South Bay - on Christmas on suspicion of burglary and drug possession.

The four suspects allegedly burglarized a business where police said they heard cutting and tearing from inside the structure.

Police arrested two suspects as they left the structure and the two other suspects as they were fleeing the scene, police said.

Someone burglarized the business Tuesday, stealing thousands of dollars of metal, electrical cabling and wiring, police said. When an officer checked the property at 3:35 p.m. Thursday they noticed a suspicious vehicle in an adjacent parking lot and located holes in a chain link fence, according to police.

The four people arrested are Miguel Padilla, 36, of Mountain View and San Jose residents Hipolito Padillo, 34, Jose Morales-Bustos, 34 and Evaristo Luna, 25.

Police booked them into Santa Rita Jail on suspicion of burglary, possession of burglary tools, possession of narcotics and resisting arrest.
