Police Activity Prompts Shelter-in-Place Advisory in San Francisco

A shelter-in-place advisory ordered in San Francisco Saturday night has been lifted.

Residents and visitors in the area of Howard and Fourth streets were asked to shelter in place because of police activity nearby.

The advisory was sent out on Twitter by the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management at 6:03 p.m.
