Police Arrest Man in Santa Rosa for Allegedly Kidnapping Daughters

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of abducting his daughters, hours after he returned with them to Rohnert Park.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports 45-year-old Everett Dean Reep was arrested Friday in a home in Santa Rosa, where police had been sent to investigate a disturbance. Officers detained him for Rohnert Park detectives.

He was booked at Sonoma County Jail on two counts of felony child endangerment and one count of committing a felony while out on bail. He was being held in in lieu of $1 million bail.

Reep had been the subject of a manhunt in California, Oregon and Washington since Tuesday, when he obtained an emergency custody order after being served a restraining order barring him from contacting his ex-wife and two daughters, ages 11 and 9.
