Police arrested a Fremont man on Tuesday after he stripped off his clothing and started masturbating outside of a Concord home following a Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson concert, police said today.
Brian Smith, 33, was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure, trespassing and public intoxication, Concord police Cpl. Christopher Blakely said.
Blakely said a resident called police shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday to report a stranger trying to open the back door of her Burnside Court home.
The woman and her husband armed themselves with a baseball bat while they waited for police to arrive and watched as the man -- identified by police as Smith -- started to masturbate in their backyard.
Police located Smith in the backyard and confirmed he was drunk, naked and masturbating, Blakely said.
Burnside Court is adjacent to the Concord Pavilion, where the Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson performed in the End of Times Tour, according to Live Nation.
Blakely said officers later confirmed Smith attended the concert. Officers on Tuesday night arrested three or four other concert attendees on suspicion of public drunkenness as well, Blakely said.
