Police in San Francisco are shocked and horrified at the beating death of a 67-year old homeless man.
They are also positive that assault and not robbery was the motive: Tai Lam had over $1,000 on him, according to reports, which makes it almost certain that the death was a "thrill kill."
SFist notes that investigators found the cash on Lam, whose brutal beating from three men was caught on surveillance video near the intersections of Sutter and Montgomery streets.
